Community Trust – Survey needs to go out to all stakeholders on what they would like a Plateau Rd Community trust to achieve (apart from Fast Internet) what would we like to see ongoing profits achieving (after repaying debt)? I think The Plateau has many community minded people yet we don’t have community projects like this to focus on that I’m aware of. Apart from the school? Would we have a shared garden or animal stock?
Debt – How could / should this be raised?e.g. One suggestion may be from ourselves? Because if a portion of my monthly Internet bill is to repay the debt then I think I want to repay this to myself. e.g. if cost as suggested of $325K / 160 households = $2031 each. Just a thought.
Funding: Who else could we try. Lotto commission? UHCC?

Followup on funding/approval; – proceed with getting the MOE and school side of things underway and in place
Schematic to show how it all works in comparison to UFB etc. Network diagram of current/future state to provide the community with laymans terms the whole process of distribution.
UFB and Phone service pricing packages and rate cards so that people in the community can compare with what they have and what’s on the market in other regions of NZ.
(The reality is that we will receive services and pricing as if they were downtown in a major CBD area – 2-3 milliseconds to get downtown and back to Plateau Road will not be noticeable…..)
Timetable and project plan that we can use as a workhorse so that all actions and things to do are captured in one place.
