    what about the old tv mast up on the hill that was used for vhf tv for plateau road. sure its still there. my isp proivdes us with what we need. we can stream on demand and 40gb is plenty. never use it all. i have complained to hipkins in the past with some response. interested in the progress so far.

      I have been told about the tv mast. We are rather looking for an up to date solution rather than a “patch” – 5 years down the line we’ll be looking for another patch and possibly an expense 5 times the cost. If this is a viable and immediate solution let me know and we can look into it. Great to hear you have a good connection… unfortunately most folks can’t stream wihout it disrupting phone services or allowing anyone else in the household to use the net.
